Peer Review Process

  • The Journal of Applied Geosciences and Energy accepts full research papers
  • Full research articles should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words and should report on completed research in the field of Geosciences and Energy.
  • Qualitative and quantitative researches are both welcomed, as are conceptual papers and systematic reviews.

Peer review:

  • The journal operates a double-blind review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal.
  • Papers are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent reviewers to assess the paper quality.
  • The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.

Double-blind review:

This journal practices double-blind review, which means the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

Therefore, while submitting the paper, please

Title page (with author details): This should include the title, authors' names, affiliations, and a complete address for the corresponding author including an e-mail address.

Blinded manuscript (no author details): The main body of the paper (including the references, figures, tables and any acknowledgments) should not include any identifying information, such as the authors' names or affiliations.
